Mr. Ryan Kaminski

Mr. Ryan Kaminski is the Senior Program Manager for Human Rights at the United Nations Foundation. Mr. Kaminski oversees the UN Foundation’s strategic partnerships with the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, where he connects the UN Association of the USA grassroots advocate network to the UN human rights system and diplomatic community, and provides expert analysis on UN human rights mechanisms. Previously, Mr. Kaminski was a research associate with the Council on Foreign Relations International Institutions and Global Governance program and a United States Fulbright Fellow in Hong Kong. He has also held positions with the Permanent Mission of Papua New Guinea to the UN, Amnesty International USA, and Friends of the Global Fight Against AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. Mr. Kaminski is a Council on Foreign Relations term member and a recipient of the Columbia University Jal Pavry Award for Outstanding Research in International Peace and Understanding, Leo Nevas Human Rights Youth Advocate Award, and the United States Department of Homeland Security Graduate Research Fellowship. He has published in the Yale Journal of International Affairs, Reuters, The Atlantic, Haaretz, The Hill, Houston Chronicle, the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs, and with the Stanley Foundation. Dr. Kamiski received a B.A. from the University of Chicago and a Master’s of International Affairs from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University (SIPA).
